Leaders clash over tougher protections for Jewish college students/ By Marisa Schultz

Academic and Jewish leaders clashed at the House Judiciary Committee Tuesday over whether tougher laws are needed to protect Jewish students on college campuses.

Opponents cautioned new legislation could impede free speech on college campuses, restrict anti-Israel political debate and could open a Pandora’s Box for other groups seeking their own laws.

Students & Parents Against Campus Anti-Semitism (SPACA) seeks to empower and educate college students to stand up to anti-Israel campaigns and anti-Semitism on college campuses.
