Ramadan Speakers at a New York City “Quds Day Rally” declared, “US number one terrorist!” and “Israel, go to Hell!”

WATCH: New York Muslim Rally Declares US the “#1 Terrorist’

At a rally in Times Square, New York, Muslims marked International Quds Day with vicious attacks on both the US and Israel.

Referring to Jerusalem as Quds, its Arabic name, Quds Day has been celebrated as an annual anti-Israel event on the last Friday of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan since being initiated by Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979.

Together with chants of “US number one terrorist!” and “Israel, go to Hell!”, the rally speakers unloaded an extraordinary number of conspiracy theories about the US and Israel.

Watch as the invited speakers jump from the John F. Kennedy assassination to the origins of ISIS to some revealing thoughts about the two-state solution.

Fliers Call to End “Jewish Privilege” at U. Illinois Comments Permalink Posted by Miriam Elman

Intersectionality or Parody? The end point of trendy progressive campus theory looks like classic antisemitism.

Several weeks ago a series of fliers appeared on the campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).

Most of the hateful fliers disparaged American Jews as privileged whites and connected this alleged ‘Jewish privilege’ to social injustice in the U.S. Others drew on classic antisemitic tropes of Holocaust denial and the new form of Jew-hatred in which Israel is compared to Nazi Germany.

In a statement, university administrators condemned the antisemitic fliers that “defame, insult and negatively portray Jewish members of our campus community.” They’re reportedly conducting a full investigation, but as of this writing those responsible for creating and distributing the fliers are still unknown.

Columbia Unbecoming - Then and Now

Columbia Unbecoming - Then and Now

When Algemeiner put Columbia University at the top of its list of the 40 worst Universities for Jewish students, Forward editor Laura E. Adkins doubted the list-makers’ methodology, invited students to chime in, and is now publishing vigorous debates. We write to enlarge and refocus the discussion.

It matters little if Columbia University is at the top, middle, or bottom of the list. It is also true that a university can support a robust Jewish life on campus -– with kosher food, Jewish holiday celebrations, a wonderful Hillel building —- while at the same time tolerating Jew hatred and student intimidation.

'Hate Spaces" Film Exposes Campus Intolerance

'Hate Spaces" Film Exposes Campus Intolerance

A new documentary, "Hate Spaces," exposes the epidemic of campus intolerance favoring Muslims and anti-Israel activists over Jews and Israel supporters when it comes to free speech, academic freedom, and protection from abuse.

The film is being released theatrically by Americans for Peace and Tolerance (APT), a Boston-based non-profit dedicated to raising public awareness about the increasingly hostile campus environment. "Hate Spaces" premiered Nov. 30 in New York, and will be screened at select locations around the country (contact info@peaceandtolerance.org for details). The film will also be available on DVD in early 2017 and eventually on YouTube. Click here to sign up for alerts.

The film's title refers to the concept of "safe spaces" that has been used to silence unpopular speech on universities around the United States.

Hen Mazzig on the UCL protest: "They were shouting 'intifada' - we were petrified

They're telling me to hide behind a wall in the lobby of a campus building - until they can safely bring me in.

The baroque clocks of University College London (UCL) have just struck seven, and a CST security guard is frantically informing me that students are moving into another room - the third one this evening - since an angry mob have discovered the safe space where we're hiding.

Suddenly I'm rushed into the classroom where a dozen students are standing in utter shock, petrified over scenes that no student should see.

The student organiser, Liora, is telling me to stay in the room. If the mob sees me, we will be penned in on all sides.

According to a major new study at Brandeis University into anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiment on US campuses, these universities are “hotspots” for such activity.

In the safe spaces on campus, no Jews allowed

When Arielle Mokhtarzadeh arrived at University of California, Berkeley, to attend the annual Students of Color Conference, she had no way of knowing that she would be leaving as a victim of anti-Semitism.

The conference has maintained a reputation for 27 years as being a “safe space” where students of color, as well as white progressive allies, can discuss issues of structural and cultural inequality on college campuses.
